Corporate Event Catering in Glasgow - Some tips

Suppose you have been chosen to organize a corporate event. Unfortunately, all you can think is of that old adage, ‘Never mix business with pleasure’. The following tips will assist you in your mixing of business and pleasure with enjoyable results.

The first thing you will want to consider in the planning process is the food. Often, the potential success of any party or event is determined by the quality of the food. Alleviate the burden and hire bookabuffet.com. When you hire a bookabuffet.com to cater your corporate event, you allow yourself and your co-workers the opportunity to plan and focus on the many details and the intention of your corporate event.

Before calling your catering service, consider the mood of your corporate event. Is there a theme? Is your corporate event casual or elegant? Do you need the catering service to assist you with a venue? Bookabuffet.com can provide all the amenities such as tables, cutlery, and waiting staff, to make your corporate event as successful as possible. You want to ensure that your corporate event is not only enjoyable but also memorable.

Consider the following points:

  • What is your event’s intention? Do you want to reveal a new service or product? Perhaps your corporate event is a thank you party for clients and vendors?
  • Prepare your guest list and set a date and time. Traditionally, two and a half to three hours is appropriate for a corporate event.
  • Design your invitation and request an RSVP.
  • Consider hiring a bartender if you plan to serve alcohol.
  • Think about your menu options and discuss them with your catering service. Consider your guests that may have special dietary needs. Bookabuffet.com have a comprehensive range of dietary platters.

Daz Garden Party 31st August

The mixologistsThe ‘Queen’ was in Glasgow last night hosting a garden party in the grounds of a flat in Finnieston and Glasgow’s most progressive caterers bookabuffet.com had a great day yesterday as they were chosen to be the caterer for Glasgow’s first Daz garden party!

The residents of St Vincent Crescent had a ball as they were the lucky winners of Daz’s own unique take on the regal garden party. Bookabuffet.com was chosen as the company thrives not only on its quality of food but also their pragmatic, reactive and enthusiastic approach to event catering. As the queen entered the grounds of the St Vincent Crescent close she was greeted by silver cloches which, when opened, revealed decadent scotch pies and rolls and sausage!

Great fun was had by all, not least on the crazy golf course set up at the rear of the garden. Indeed the stars of Daz’s current advertising campaign, Michelle Collins and Tom Watts of Eastender’s fame, had a royally good time, providing a touch of glamour to the occasion. In fact everyone at involved from bookabuffet.com had a great evening - from the mixologists creating great cocktails of lager and lime, to the chef preparing the grandest of scotch pies.
